Daily Kos has a stunningly comprehensive list of potential problems with McCain’s running mate, Alaska governor Sarah Palin. Some of the problems are purely partisan, while others raise substantial questions about the rule of law, governmental ethics, and of course, her fitness to lead the country. Although I agree with many of the attacks on her personality, the fundamental issue is that she seems to lack the temperament and experience to serve as the chief executive if something happened to the 72-year-old McCain.
It’s not that Sarah Palin is inexperienced. It’s that this is gross political misconduct.
